2512 - ELEV ANGLE SENSOR NOT DETECTING CHANGERelated models
The control system wants to see angle sensor movement within five seconds after lift up has been activated. Note: This article is not for ES scissor models with the ES at the end of the model number. (Example 1930ES) SymptomsActive 2512 code, functions prevented except for lift down. Possible CausesFaulty Sensor

Calibration Troubleshooting Steps1. Use the JLG analyzer and go to DIAGNOSTICS/ELEV SENSOR/READING 1, the reading should change while raising the platform. READING 2 can be used as well. Fully stowed READING 1 increases when raised. READING 2 decreases when raised.
A. If the angle elevation sensor does not change, check the mechanical linkage to the sensor. On this machine, the sensor linkage is a key coupling and the sensor must be removed to inspect the linkage. Please note any dismounting of the sensor will require an elevation sensor calibration and LSS calibration.
2. Calibrate the elevation sensor.
3. Make sure there is physical movement of the arm stack when lift is activated.
A. If this is the case make sure there are no other active codes for the lift circuit.
B. If the pump is running but the lift is not raising check relief pressures or for a stuck lift down valve.
4. Replace the sensor and recalibrate the elevation angle sensor and LSS. - Fluke Multimeter
